10 things that makes me tick

Breaking down human behavior into lists, bullets, and rules is often an exercise in gross simplification for 4 simple reasons: 1.People mostly care about themselves; 2. People are motivated by selfish altruism; 3. People really don’t think much; 4. Conformity is the norm.  With that in mind, I’ve assembled an honest list of pragmatic 10 self perceptions:

  • Thought-provoking verbiage and aesthetic design
  • Techology, gadgets, and widgets
  • Movies featuring witty twists, dark sarcasm, big explosions, and teen angst
  • Melodic trance and heavy beats
  • Spicy foods, dark chocolate, and all-things fried
  • Foreign adventures and exploration
  • Ohio State football
  • Doubling down and pressing hard ways
  • Xbox 360 first person shooters
  • Purring cats

Nice to see you’re blogging again. I’m this close to starting a Connections Community about comms. Got lots of ideas, lots of blog topics in the hopper (as you can imagine). Lots of potential titles for it (example: “Communication Iisn’t Everything…” with the dot-dot-dot implying that it’s the ONLY thing. I’m sure most people wouldn’t get that (see your #3 above). Or I could call it, “Communications Is Everything.” That’s provocative. Not sure. There are others).

Anyway, I ramble. Keep up the …stuff.
